1. Foundational Commitment to Transparency
At Pace & Fuel (https://paceandfuel.com), our mission is to deliver evidence-based sports science tools, race-day fueling calculations, and training blocks completely free of paywalls or forced subscription gates.
To maintain server infrastructure, develop new interactive algorithms, and fund site operations, we earn referral compensation through affiliate partnerships. When you click outbound links on our site and make a purchase, we may receive a small commission at no additional cost to you.
2. Amazon Associates Program Disclosure
Mandatory Amazon Associates Statement:
"Pace & Fuel is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.co.uk and affiliated Amazon marketplaces."
As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases. Amazon and the Amazon logo are trademarks of Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates.
3. Affiliate Networks & Partner Programs
In addition to Amazon, Pace & Fuel partners with established sports retail networks and merchant brands, including:
- Awin Affiliate Network: We partner with specialized running and endurance brands (including Runnr Active) via the Awin platform. Links to these partners utilize secure tracking tokens that identify referral traffic.
- Direct Merchant Affiliates: We may establish direct referral relationships with endurance nutrition, gear, and apparel manufacturers that meet our editorial and physiological standards.
4. Editorial Independence & Product Selection
Our recommendations are driven strictly by physiological utility, mechanical durability, and practical value for runners and endurance athletes:
- No Pay-to-Play Rankings: Retailers cannot pay to have products placed into our calculators, race course checkpoint recommendations, or top gear slots.
- Real-World Applicability: We recommend items that solve genuine friction points—such as avoiding gut distress via 1:0.8 carb ratios, anti-chafing gear, or verified high-capacity race hydration vests.
- Price Neutrality: You will never pay more for a product by clicking an affiliate link on Pace & Fuel. Retail pricing, discounts, and terms remain identical to visiting the merchant directly.
